Outage
An outage is something like a ‘major overhaul’ for the entire power plant. Over the course of a few weeks, around a thousand people intervene here, and together they have a schedule of around 18,000 tasks — from inspecting pipelines and pumps to refueling and modernizing the process systems. In brief, nobody rests when there is an outage, only the reactor.
