The reactor glows blue
When and why does the reactor glow blue? This phenomenon is called Cherenkov radiation. It can only be observed during uranium fuel replacement when the reactor is open and the light is slowed down by the water. The radiation is caused by charged particles that are travelling faster than light at that moment.
