The generator
The generator is a key component for almost every power plant – after all, it produces electrical energy. The one at the Temelin NPP is the largest in the Czech Republic. Its maximum power output reaches up to 1125 MWe, the total weight of the rotor is 90 tonnes, and it is over 14 metres long.
